With pets as part of your family it’s only natural that you will want to include them in your holiday celebrations. It’s always fun to share holidays like Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving with your pet but you also need to be aware of some of the hazards to avoid. For example, chocolate is always a no-no for cats and dogs! Plants like poinsettias are somewhat toxic to pets. And, as much as your dog may beg, scraps from your Thanksgiving meal are not a good idea. Check with us for advice on safety for your pets during the holidays.
We’ll also be celebrating the holidays at the World’s Most Pet Friendly House with our Holiday Photo Gallery. Send us photos of you and your pets enjoying the holidays. You can post pics of your pets in their cutest Halloween costumes, enter contests, and tell us how you and your pets like to spend the holidays. We’ll also have suggestions about holiday-specific gifts for dogs and cats so you can include them in your gift giving. Every dog and cat loves to have their own stocking filled with toys and treats for Christmas!
